Terms
Terms of use: reading this site, and the account
These terms cover reading srs.report, which needs no account.
The account lives on uksrs.org.uk; its terms are summarised here and set out in full there.
What this site is
An independent reference, not advice
Sustainability Reporting Standards is an independent reference site about UK sustainability reporting standards and related regulatory frameworks.
We are not affiliated with HM Government, the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), Companies House, the Environment Agency, or any other regulatory body.
Official guidance should always be obtained from the relevant regulatory authority.
Regulations change, so verify against primary sources before making a compliance decision.
Everything here is general information, not legal, financial or professional advice.
Reading it creates no advisory or client relationship.
No account here
There is no account on this site
This site has no sign-in, no registration and no member area, so there is nothing here to accept terms on behalf of.
The account for everything in the cluster lives on uksrs.org.uk.
The terms that govern that account are the hub’s: uksrs.org.uk/terms-of-service, summarised in the next section.
What this site collects is on the privacy page, and the hub’s privacy policy covers the account.
The account
If you sign in
These terms cover reading this site, which needs no account.
The account is made on uksrs.org.uk and is governed by the uksrs.org.uk terms of service; in short:
The account is optional. Nothing on these sites needs an account. Accounts are made and held on uksrs.org.uk, and the member app is free while it is in beta.
Acceptable use. Do not try to reach another member's data or any part of the service you have not been given, do not interfere with it, overload it or probe it for weaknesses, and do not use it to break the law or anyone's rights.
The agent's answers are not advice. The member agent's answers are information with citations. They are not legal, financial, accounting or other regulated or professional advice, and they must not be the only basis of a reporting or compliance decision.
Your figures are your responsibility. You are responsible for the accuracy of the figures you enter and the documents you upload, and for having the right to share them. Colleagues in your organisation can read what you add.
Suspension. We may suspend or close an account used to attack the service, to break these terms or to break the law, and we will tell you why unless the law or the safety of the service prevents it.
Deletion. You can delete your data, or your whole account, yourself at any time from Settings on uksrs.org.uk, without asking us.
Governing law
England and Wales
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
When these terms change, the date on this page moves.
